Exactly, and it would also be utterly unethical. No ethics committee would ever let a trial be designed with placebo for very ill people. However if you read the lieHUBbers last weekend, they kept blathering on about how CTIX's trials were supposedly useless because there was no control group. It's nice to know that it's DANA-FARBER that came up with the algorithm, isn't it?
