The fact Trump still has support....
To me that just shows how much disgust many Americans have in the political system. I'm Canadian, and this country holds zero moral superiority, although we do often affect a holier than thou attitude.
Our biggest city, Toronto....the voters of that metropolis elected Crack smoking Rob Ford, and had he not fallen ill and eventually passed away....he might very well have won again. The reason? A lot of voters are sick of professional politicians suckling at the public teet and enriching themselves and their friends. Like Trump Rob Ford came from a wealthy family, (although not as nearly as wealthy as Donald's) and many saw him as a champion of the little guy....railing against government waste and the entitlement many of the political class seem to possess.
