Why are you such a naïf? I haven't shifted on any position. I've received those email solicitations for months. They are ALWAYS breathless appeals for more money.
I know that you need to believe that they represent desperation, but that's a child's view of the matter
The GOP is ending out the exact appeals. Period.

And any notion that the Trump campaign is outsmarting the Clinton campaign is belied daily by the facts and by the polls.
