Ford Ranger, Bronco Under Works, Donald Trump Announces

Although Donald Trump had strong opinions against Ford's decision to move production of their small cars to Mexico last September, the presidential candidate accidentally gave off information that the discontinued Ford Range and Ford Bronco models would be produced in the Michigan plant once again.

Ford and Donald Trump

Ford Motor Company has had a rough year in 2015 when the presidential candidate, Donald Trump, condemned the company for deciding to move the production of their small cars to Mexico. Despite the negative note, Trump did, however, revealed the company's plans for two of its phased-out models to come back to the automobile market .

Ford's Stand On Trump
As reported by Jalopnik, Trump's public speeches, as a chairman of the company's board, that the Ford Ranger and Ford Bronco production will be moved to the Michigan factory after the company announced they would move the production of their small cars to Mexico.

In fact, Ford's United Auto Works contract had announced last November that they would return the Ford Ranger and Bronco models which formed part of a $9 million investment into the U.S. factories - a good notion for Trump.

Not everyone was happy with Trump's notions. According to Auto Guide, Bill Johnson, the chairman of UAW Local 900, the company that represents the Wayne Ford Plant stated, "We hate to see the products go to Mexico, but with the Ranger and the Bronco coming to Michigan Assembly that absolutely secures the future for our people a lot more than the Focus does."

Johnson was deemed to have been annoyed with Trump's allegations that Ford Motor Company will negatively affect the labor industry of the U.S. with the move to Mexico.
