In my opinion Royal Capital saw their remaining 20% interest being much more valuable than the opportunity to take over 100% property as the primary lender in control of a bankruptcy.
And even more than that - RC has to know all of the players and they had to know that the deals were done for them to be willing to seemingly go first
New employees that can drive this
Partners in funding that can finance this
Content partners that can feed the beast
RC did not act out of the goodness of their heart, and they didn't go first without confirmation of the rest of the deal
We are waiting for BIG DOGS to pee before they walk over to sign the papers.
