THE issue is Trump's unwillingness to reveal his tax returns.
I don't read much about 'tax avoidance' but rather Trump's
inability/unwillingness to support his claims for business acumen with his tax returns.
We both know that the overwhelming likelihood is that his charitable contributions were either negligible or nonexistent and that his net worth is either much smaller than claimed and or that he is ill-liquid.
Those are probably 'deal breakers' for some number of undecided voters. Lack of clarity on these matter may also be a deal breaker for the same voters.
This is a mess of his own making, as he is on the record, during the primaries, as saying he would release his tax returns.
