You are copying a press release, not the LOI. I went from the LOI itself. Plus, the effective date is the effective date. When you sign it is irrelevant. I copied right from the agreement. It states the following:
It is EFFECTIVE Sept. 2, 2016 and EXPIRES Oct. 2, 2016 as cleared stated in the LOI.
The LOI expired yesterday. Has no one worked with a contract before?
