Sounds like they did the mortgage backed derivatives poison too. Been there, had to correct that. Was on the team that went in with the FSLIC and took apart American Savings, the first bank to go down in the S&L debacle, fired a whole bunch of people and put the bank back together. Funny, BC legalized mortgage backed securities trading here in the US that led to our financial crisis. Interesting how people, countries can't stop making the same mistakes. Greed gone wild.
