It is. However its common practice to use Newswire releases for big events. That is common practice and from the looks of things that is what most if not all traders look to when they are using their money for investments. Twitter is pretty new for trading and I do think it will take some time for people to accept it. However anyone can make a twitter post off the cuff and like most recent tweets we keep hearing stuff but as of right now I do not see it materialize.

I can only accept them as forward looking events and not 100% concrete. Which is why many are hesitant but optimistic on what is going on.
