Now, flip that around... if Steve announced he was using the 2b newly added shares to purchase a new home and car for himself... how would you feel about the share structure then?

It all comes down to what an investors confidence level is in the CEO and BOD to do the right thing for the company.  An investor needs to make that decision, then ACT on the decision.
