Beat team
by 40 points last year. New coach new system. They played a full house ball control game. Coach ran a 4-4 defense. Good to stop the traps...bad for stopping dive plays and sweeps. Have to run a 5-3 against a full house and take your chances on the traps. Plus it was homecoming the coach went heavy on senior's playing. Normally we have 3-4 seniors play on either O or D. Should have won by 2-3 TD had the coach gone with his Studs.
Our team ran the house for 15 years. Then went to the veer. Personally I would run both and throw in a spread. The kids know all 3.
But.... he is a live or die by the veer coach.
