I Know You Live In Your Own Reality’: Clinton, Trump spar over TPP
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump sparred over the best way to bring jobs back to America at Monday's debate.
Clinton said her plan includes appointing a special prosecutor to oversee trade deals the United States negotiates with other countries.
“We will increase America’s exports globally,” she said.
“Well, you haven’t done it in 30 years [in public life],” Trump interjected.
“NAFTA is one of the worst things…ever signed.”
Trump accused Clinton of flip-flopping on support of the planned Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement.
“You were totally in favor to TPP,” he said, adding that she changed her mind when he began to speak on the topic at rallies.
“I know you live in your own reality,” Clinton said.
“The facts are I did say I hoped it would be a good deal,” she said.
