??????? I said effective tax rate...you do not pay 33% in taxes...that is not the effective rate??????????
If you are single...and make $250,000 ...(that is the tax bracket you are in)....your effective rate would max out at a rough 26% ...in reality..it would be much lower given deductions.
So good job...you and your family(if such)...make over $250,000 a year. That's your bracket.
