Lundbeck's late-stage Alzheime'rs drug ineffective and causes liver toxicity.
We had all better hope that AVXL's stuff works, because all of these big drug companies that continually go down the same pathway looking for drugs -- all of which fail -- are sure not going to be helping people any time soon. AVXL and PRAN are the only companies I'm aware of that are not just testing "me-too" drugs, but are trying to be innovative. I have not been following PRAN closely in recent months but they have been disappointing thus far.
