I personally know of two people who's investment philosophy includes a rule of not investing in any company that lacks institutional investment. Their theory is that the institutions know better than they do as an investor, so therefore, if the institutions avoid it then they will avoid it as a retail buyer. Not saying I totally agree, but I certainly understand the thought process. I have a feeling that CTIX lacks many investors due to that mentality.
