House Cmte Recommends Contempt Charge Against Clinton Aide
House Cmte on Oversight and Government Reform votes 19–15 to refer to full House a resolution to recommend charges against former Hillary Clinton aide Bryan Pagliano for contempt of Congress.
Pagliano, who set up and helped maintain the private e-mail server Clinton used, did not appear at hearing, the second time he has spurned the committee despite a subpoena
Pagliano has already asserted his Fifth Amendment rights before a different cmte, so Democrats said calling him back again would serve no purpose
