Unfortunately, Zattnt. I'm not wrong.
Due to the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984, there is no parole for federal crimes convicted after November 1, 1987. You can get an early release with a good time credit, but that only entitles you to a 15% reduction of your sentence. I believe Foley was sentenced to 22 months in federal prison in early June of 2015, which means he can be released as early as the middle of December, this year.
I wish I were wrong on this and that Foley would get out sooner, but that's not going to happen. December 16th is his release date.
