Donald Trump turned Hillary Clinton's "basket of deplorables" on its head, bringing a Les Mis-inspired theme to his Miami rally.
The Republican candidate walked out in front of a big video image that had converted "Les Miserables" into "Les Deplorables" and showed USA and Trump banners in place of French ones. The image was borrowed from the meme-obsessed minds on Trump's fan page on Reddit.
The musical number "Do You Hear the People Sing" from the Broadway production also played during the introduction.
"Welcome to all of you deplorables!" Trump greeted the ecstatic audience
