True, but it still happens regularly when the liquidity jumps and the actual cash flow remains relatively low. When that's the case there's more than enough liquidity for grabbing some decent percentage swings and some nice pay days.
I agree, if you want those nice scores on smaller percentage moves which are more reliable, big liquidity is the ticket. I still wouldn't say that smaller capital isn't being flipped here on the pops and dips. If it wasn't the case, you'd see barely any shorting on a prospect like this one with way more upside potential than downside.
