that's correct.
here's the photoshop process that is used for that effect:
1. pull in the original image of the tanker (background layer)
2. pull in an image of the Eagle Spirit Sprin water into layer1
3. adjust the size of the logo to fir the tanker rear panel
4. adjust the opacity of layer 1 until you get the desired blending.
(you may also need to tweak brightness & contrast of layer 1 in conjunction with the amount of opacity.)
5. when finished, flatten the image
6 save the file & post away.

it's trivial to do this.
having said that, the logo would look AWESOME on the back and the sides of that tanker!
