I feel the same as you how important it is that the UF site needs to be up and running before each customer received their phone. But by saying that it's even more important that it runs flawless with no glitches.
Several things could be happening.
The site has been down over a week now giving them the time needed to be ready for launch Sept 1st........
Maybe they are having trouble with unforeseen problems with the new servers ......
Maybe they are incorporating live streaming channel and is taking longer than expected.........
Maybe they want to upload as many new content as possible.........
Maybe because with the recent Microsoft delay it set them back and needed the extra time.......
Maybe everything is done and need extra time to test everything Globally
Maybe because Akyumen was delayed from June to September 1st and giving NTEK the extra time to launch over the holiday weekend and was part of the plan...........
ALOT OF MAYBE'S ..... We shall see on the 5th
