I only stole one thing as a kid.
5 or 6 years old.
A twinkie type pastry.
I felt so guilty I couldn't eat 1/2 of it.
Mom took me back to that neighborhood grocer
for a very fine humiliation. I thought I was going to hell.
It was good enough I didn't get a spanking (for that)
