I would probably shut off the phones and communications too if I was being constantly harassed by not only the disingenuous individuals pretending to be share holders, fishing for information, harassing and distracting employees and just being a general nuisance.

Then there's some shareholders with unrealistic expectations and no knowledge of what it takes to move this business forward pretty much doing the same thing just because the company didn't make them rich on the time schedule they were expecting.

At this point the company can't tell the difference. What do they do ?....a complete blackout until they are ready to execute what they are going to do......

It prevents distraction, focuses and even protects employees.

Makes sense to me.....who knows...Just speculating like everyone else.
