New here ? This is the short version of the background to the court case.
Leep developed a superior construction panel for prefabricated buildings called leepcore.
Some time ago, Leep (LPPI) attempted to build a partnership with Outdoor Venture Capital (OVC).
OVC had some political backing but some dealings may have been suspect.
It is contended by Leep that OVC did not participate in good faith and tried to force Leep out of business with tactics that ultimately failed.
It is generally believed that LPPI has OVC banged to rights with their legal argument (a lot more detail on-line to look up if you wish) and that OVC is doing what they can to delay what some consider is an inevitable day of judgement with damages estimated to be around $30M+.
About every 4 months there is another court hearing which leads to a flurry of excitement because there is always the possibility that there could be a pre-trial settlement. Last year and earlier this year the hearing later transpired to be just to an agreement to a further delay.
This latest August date (yesterday) was brought forward at short notice from the last estimate in February for October. Usually, there is hype a few days prior to the hearing. Today there was the surprise huge (for this) buy after the hearing.
For most playing this it's just a matter of not being without shares in case it runs to multiple pennies - then if it doesn't, it only goes down to around the .0030>.0040 area in between hearings and you can get more to sell at leisure next time around. The soap opera will continue until there is a final settlement - whether it be by trial or early deal.
