1 Year old car cost me $3400.00 in 1976 and it was tricked out. Same car cost me $24,000.00 today with lower wages, cheaper parts and material to build it. Dinner, movie and gas was $20. Today $50-75.
You are right wages have not gone up for most. However there is another approach that better fixes the problem.
