Which is a big deal to the eastern mind. Honor is a big deal to Chinese people and this guy wanted to make sure he did not dishonor Bill nor his CEO.
In my email response to Bill, I encouraged him to make sure this marketing manager was assured that this was not his fault, that it was the fault of people, like moneybagsclay, who's only intent is to defraud.
Anyone speaking or writing to a Chinese National should understand English is a second language to them. As such their understanding of the English language will be formal. They will not, usually, answer the intended question. They will only answer the question you actually asked.
I used most of my 15 posts to point this out yesterday. Most got deleted and the ordeal got me back to one post a day. So be it.
