There is nothing wrong with me. You made a sweeping generalization to the effect that:

"I seen life back then and people really did have a life then.
One person worked to support their family people had family time took vacations had a nice house close food money in the bank ."

And I calmly pointed out that that was not the experience for the groups I identified.

For many people life was as you described, just as it is today for many people. Your clear implication was that life is not so good now as it was. But in many, many respects it is better
