My sister was offered a job in 1983 by a Prince to teach English over there.
US caught in the circle. Problem is Royal vs Religious vs Dictator leadership. it doesn't matter...same flavor...pick your poison.
No easy solution... other than making the area a non relevant and securing our borders...however we and other keep playing the game. When the only value is money and power one hand isn't any better than the other
