I have a old bill from my grandmother 3 day stay in the Hospital in the 60's...$15. In today's money $120. Today you pay your copay on meds and office visits and still owe money even if you meet your deductible. 4 Trillion a year for healthcare and it is all profit as most not all of us pay the overhead with our copay's and end bill we owe. Pretty sweet for the Insurance Co. and those that own the PPO's and HMO's and corporate gets the write off for their part of the premium.
Healthcare should cost less than 1 Trillion for 322,000,000 people and for the most part "We the people" would reduce that by more than 1/2 with reasonable co-pays.
