Yea, markets moving away from the spoke hub model to the point to point model is what really killed the 747s from what I am reading.
I have no idea what type of plane Baltia is getting, just thought between the soft demand, white tailed planes, and Boeing to the point they are willing to take old planes for guaranteed sale to generate sales, could be a nice bargaining chip for buyers of the plane.
