My point was never to peg the exact cost of the trial - be it $2.5M, $3M, less than $5M, etc.
My point was that they have $1M to start and can possible ink a better JV after starting.
There are a lot of loonies on other message boards and twitter screaming that AMBS doesn't have the money to start the trial. They do. In fact, they may have 1/3 of what they need total.
They also have a CRADA which gives them a lot of freebies from the Army in addition to the AFIRM grant.
