HS looks like a more suitable target in my non-medical opinion, because BOTH the anti-inflammatory and the antibiotic properties of Brilacidin should be useful in treatment.
Quote:
The first sign of hidradenitis suppurativa is typically a painful lump under the skin, often on a part of your body that experiences friction, such as the armpits or groin. The lump can last for weeks to months before it breaks open into an abscess that drains pus. Another lump can then grow in the same place or in the general area.

In atopic dermatitis, it would be only the anti-inflammatory property that would be useful.

Quote:
Atopy is a special type of hypersensitivity that is associated with asthma, inhalant allergies (hay fever), and a chronic dermatitis. There is a known hereditary component of the disease, and it is more common in affected families. Criteria that enable a doctor to diagnose it include the typical appearance and distribution of the rash in a patient with a personal or family history of asthma and/or hay fever.

To me it's smarter to go with the disease that seems more probable to succeed with, rather than the crapshoot of atopic dermatitis.
