'Excessive heat warnings' on the other hand....
At P.I. on days when the heat and humidity were high enough to be heat stroke/heat exhaustion risks, they raised a black flag that signaled 'no outdoor P.T.'
Which meant they just f*cked with us in the barracks all day.
One D.I said "don't get it in your heads that 'charley' raises a black flag, or that it ever gets too hot to fight in Vietnam.
I didn't.
I WILL ride my bike today because no 'black flag' near the lake.
