The rate of return is irrelevant to my situation, for the reasons I gave,
And yeah, that IS all I need to know, My life will not change tomorrow due to 'rate of return on SS'
I read enough to see the scenarios laid out that will not impact me negatively.
Nowhere did I read about the effect of raising the cap on the solvency of SS or Medicare. That's different from increasing withholding.
And that's where part of the debate will be between the two Parties.
