Volume pre merger announcement was much higher, and I find that very unusual. NSS of iTalk and the reason for all the bashing?

Jun-16 --- 2,051,166,397 -> Total volume for 2016 up until June
3.2 billion more shares was traded last year from January to June, as compared to this year.
