My Sabato line were Irish and settled in Dark co Ohio via PA. Where they changed there name to Sibbitt. Great grandmother was a (Sibbitt or Sabato) Huge land owner in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. Something about stealing British Horses and delivering them to the Continental Army brought about the spelling change.
