And I personally don't believe in laws passed to make me feel better about myself or my beliefs that also restrict the rights of others.

The only way gay marriage 'hurts' my marriage is if a gay couple moves in next door and the wife starts giving me sh*t because their house and lawn start to look a lot better than ours.
The GOP, the 'busybody party' always worrying about what someone else is doing while closeting people who are doing what they don't like!
The ship has sailed on this subject and only too easily frightened bigots and busybodies are standing on the pier still waving their torches and pitchforks.
