Sheriff Clarke: Don't Try to Understand 'Sick Ideology' of Radical Islam, Destroy It
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke appeared on "The Cost of Freedom" today to react to the terror attack in Nice, France, which left at least 84 people dead and scores wounded.
"I'm through trying to understand the sick ideology of Islamism," Sheriff Clarke said. "Instead of trying to understand it, we ought to just try to kill it."
He said that, unfortunately, there's no urgency from President Obama in addressing the growing threat of radical Islamic terror.
"Once again, President Obama came out yesterday and started lecturing us about Islam and Muslims," Sheriff Clarke said, pointing out that it's not criticizing all Muslims to call out Islamism.
"There's no clear, coherent strategy either at the federal or the local level to do anything about this, to destroy this ideology."
