Just about every floated alternative GOP candidate polled better against Hillary than does Trump.

So that suggests the 'Not Trumps' definitely wanted to defeat Hillary.

They can now focus on 'saving' Senate and House seats.

There aren't nearly enough such people to effect the voting totals against Trump.

If they actively attack him from the convention on, that's another matter.
