I think they will eventually do a deal with a Chinese firm whether it's this time or not, because Lonza was working a deal in China at one time- maybe someone else here knows more about that?

The rights for Asia would probably just be a licensing deal (not a JV) since there is no FDA there and they would probably just start using it without any more trials -knowing the Chinese- lol. But I could also see a Chinese firm wanting a percentage of the North American market and doing a partnership to go through the FDA process.
