Also IMO this was a stop-running move -- took it down to 1.12 to clean out anyone who was silly enough to put a hard stop in which the market makers can see on their order books. It also probably took out people who put in trailing stops, which is the best way to do it if you think you just have to put a stop in -- because trailing stops do NOT show up on the market makers' order books.
