they mean the carrier brand, it's a branded store T-Mobile or Metro PCS they are managing. Not a CPD Mobile or iTalk store.
In this case I think he is referencing Metro PCS as the prepaid brand.
They mentioned they couldn't mention the Metro PCS or T-Mobile in the pr he said it would be too costly and time consuming to get permission to use there names in the pr or something like that... I didn't quite understand that part the email.
