According to Andrew Roberts, on page 723 in his book Napoleon, A Life[/i], Napoleon passed some time during his first exile on the island of Elba by playing with his pet monkey Jenar. Up until reading this book I never even knew that Napoleon had a monkey.
Now I bet that's a factoid you're going to wonder how you ever managed to live without.
