The Brilacidin-OM trial was the proof of concept trial, an easily administered method where results can be seen immediately. Brilacidin-UP has to be administered by enema and results are not as immediately obvious, and take much more effort to assess (and MUCH more unpleasant for the patient).

Anybody who could possibly post, accusing the company of doing the wrong trial first, clearly either 1) has no understanding of the science and the way clinical trials are done; or 2) is deliberately misrepresenting the company's progress.
