Don't forget they should also read the bills they vote on. If these $@$#%€ds actually read what they voted on we'd have a lot less government and many fewer laws. The reaction from Congress for every bad event is to write a new law even though enforcement of existing laws would be sufficient to deal with 99.9% of legal issues.

Not to mention the numerous laws written by lobbyists for very specific expenditures of money toward favored industries or businesses r charity groups. Every extra dollar spent beyond the mandated spending (social security, medi this and medi that, etc.) and defense is borrowed. Solar? Wind? Medical "research" grants? Tax credits for your geothermal heating and AC system? All borrowed money.
