I pulled into Hollywood on a bike
in 1969 fresh from a small town in Indiana.
8 days on the road with all of nature.
Only to pull into that shit.
Holy smokes. Culture shock.

My riding friend and I were known
in a coffee shoppe as "the Sunburn Boyz"

They did not bother us at all.
Wind burn sun burn peeling face
long hair hard blown straight back
road kill look.
