From an investigative point of view it is not always obvious who the conspirators are. First you would gather up a list of who all benefited from the special dividend. Then you look for the people on that list and the accounts that got a larger than normal dividend. Potentially purchasing the shares at the last minute or getting a 500k dividend or something larger than the average investor got. Then you investigate those names and you may actually find the people behind the alleged scam.
This is just my opinion. I think they are of the mind that if you can get a list of everyone who got paid you may be able to locate the people's real name and location who perpetrated the alleged fraud of CRGP.
I cannot imagine that they would sue all of us to get back the little dividends that we got. After the reverse split and price crash most of us were not in any mood to buy more until this dividend hit. Mine was small enough if I had to pay it back I could write a check today. I used a portion of it to buy more shares thinking that this might be a quarterly happening.
If somewhere in this the real names of Adam Carter and whom ever else was involved come out perhaps a criminal case can be built. I do not think that the cost of recovering small dividends is worth it. They are looking for the big boys who got most of the 4 million they claim to be missing.
