I think it is a natural product that does not require regulation.
Alcohol needs to be distilled and chemically altered. Alcohol when consumed in various quantities can result in behavior ranging from slightly affected to full blown blackouts.
Comparing alcohol to pot is like comparing a slingshot to an AR 15.
I've known many pot smokers over the years from occasional use to daily pot heads. None have had a tragedy as a result of the use.
I've lost many friends to accidents , diabetes and liver failure all because of too much alcohol.
The only thing regulation needs to do is try to keep it out of the hands of developing brains. If it gets that accomplished then IMO it's good regulation.
It's not worked with alcohol so far as the number of teenage deaths every year from consuming too much is still way too high. At least with pot kids drastically have a much higher chance statistically of not dying.
