This is in response to some of the questions I've seen on twitter.
Not really much different than a personal loan. Look to your own experiences. In my experiences, In my younger years, I would ask for a certain loan amount and be offered less. Lately, when I ask to borrow money , I am usually given a higher credit line than I have asked for. Most recently I asked for $40k and was given a credit line up to $65k.
The ex-im process is going to be essentially the same, its just going to take longer because there is more money and more risk involved.
Its going to take however long its going to take and that is the most accurate answer anyone is going to be able to give you. There really is no such thing as instant credit (regardless of the ads you get in the mail.)
