I've been thinking about the filings that were mandated by the court for both the defendant and plaintiff at the last court appearance.Perhaps the judge, in an attempt to expedite a settlement in the KBM v. HJOE styled case, wants to see what HJOE hopes to achieve in their counterclaims and then look a response from KBM. There were no specifics requested by HJOE in their counterclaim and, as such, the judge may want to have additional information from them and then a look see at the plaintiffs response before issuing strong language about the advantages to both parties to reach a settlement. I'm certain the judge would like to clear space on his/her docket.
